It's Still Sears, Damn It!

Where have I gone for the past two weeks? Well, I certainly have not been renovating a Huntridge Cottage in Vintage Las Vegas like Uncle Jack. But let's see, there's the job, the gnat known as graduate school and an unexpected family member popping in from overseas for a visit. That has kept me insanely busy. Not enough energy in the day for me at times.

There we were last Sunday, touring Chicago and my cousin was dying to see the Sears Tower. Oh, yes, he knew about the name change, but alas had forgotten the new name. Good for him! Here are some great views of the city from the top. Soon enough, I will finish up the Goldblatt's saga. Not before I take a final on Monday. Actually, it is called the midterm exam, part two. The semester ends first week of May. Which name depicts a more accurate description?

Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller???????

Oh, it was called something else before Willis Tower? I had no idea!

I think the name might have been May Co. Tower. LOL! And Macy's on State Street was actually Kmart back in the day. ;-)

It pays to know your Chicago retail history.
